StrataFLEX to Launch Full Suite of Flexible PCB Design
Services to Complement Production Expertise
-- Planned initiative to shorten customer project timelines
and reduce development costs --
Toronto, Ontario, September 22, 2004 – StrataFLEX
Corporation, a leading producer of flexible printed circuit
boards (PCB) for high reliability interconnect applications,
today announced that it will begin offering a full suite of
design services as a key component of its strategy to provide
an enhanced offering to its customers. To execute this initiative,
StrataFLEX has hired a dedicated PCB designer and is investing
in the industry’s leading hardware and software tools.
The new services are expected to launch in the fourth quarter
of 2004.

product development process, ensuring products are optimized
for production during the design stage, allowing customers

can now concurrently design for optimal functionality, manufacturability
and test. This can substantially reduce the time and cost
required to take a circuit from concept to volume production.
Additionally, we intend to complement these services with
the acquisition of additional hardware and software allowing
us to accurately model and verify circuit construction for
specific impedance requirements.”
